A refurbishment of an unused metro train bridge. The bridge structure was originally finished in 1987 along with the parallel road bridges, with the intention to serve ฺBangkok's first metro network. The metro line was cancelled in 1992 following the junta government's order after a coup d'état. This metro section was later re-added to the plan, with this section changed into an underground tunnel instead.
