Fairly new funicular after 15 years of planning and back and forth construction work. Free with the PT monthly pass. The design blocks the view on one of it’s sides, the reasons I couldn’t get to, maybe privacy for the houses nearby. It connects Martim Moniz, 5 min walk from the main train station Rossio to Graça, a neighbourhood in the Hills with a church from the 14th century and two of the best “miradouros” sightseeing points in town, “Graça” and “Senhora do Monte”. PS: Currently closed due to last years disaster
